Program: Kinesiology III

What are your roles/duties in the club?

As one of our two VP's of management, my role in the club is centred around interacting with our amazing group of volunteers. This includes matching volunteers with their penpals, sharing important information via email and facebook, and acting as a liaison between our executive team and volunteers.

Why did you join this initiative?

I joined the Penpals for Seniors initiative as a way to help bring happiness and a sense of connectedness to our seniors. My involvement in this club is a way for me to show my appreciation for the world our seniors have built for us. The pandemic shone a light on the unfortunate reality that many seniors face, and this club provides a means for me to do my part in helping improve the quality of life for our area's senior population.

What is a fun fact about you?

I am a member of our track and cross country team here at McMaster!
