What are your roles/duties in the club?

As VP Outreach, I work with my co-exec to contact retirement homes to establish penpal partnerships with their residents and McMaster students.

Why did you join this initiative?

Social isolation among seniors is a large issue that is often overlooked. This has become evermore prevalent due to COVID-19 visitor restrictions. Penpal for seniors can help fix this issue by establishing friendships for the seniors, ensuring that they are able to share stories, jokes and stay socially connected during these hard times.

What is a fun fact about you?

I love to cook! If you ask me to, I would be more than happy to let me make a meal for you :)
